CASE STUDY

Oxford Road

Summary:

A unique timber frame extension with the entire structure supported internally by only a single wall.

To reduce concrete in the foundations, we utilised screw piles and coordinated all the below-ground services, including extended rainwater ducts due to the size of the roof and volume of discharge.

Internally, we installed a self-supporting curved staircase and landing to the loft extension that seamlessly connected to the original ground to 1st floor staircase that we restored.

Full internal reconfiguration and refurbishment works were undertaken to complete this incredible example of a carefully restored and extensively extended Victorian family home.
